The pinned locknut socket that pulls the output shaft nut on Ford TorqShift transmissions. Matches the OTC/Ford T7458 tool, 1/2 inch drive, hardened alloy steel.
If you are into the tailshaft on a Ford TorqShift transmission, the output shaft locknut is the one fastener a regular socket will never touch. It takes a dedicated pinned spanner, and this is that tool. It is a direct match for the Ford/OTC T7458, machined from high-strength alloy steel with a black finish that shrugs off the thread-locker heat you will be putting to it.
The fitment list is long because Ford ran the TorqShift and its later 10-speed relative across a lot of iron: 2003-2010 Super Duty F-250 through F-550 with the 5R110W, the older 4R100, plus 2017-2019 F-150, Expedition, Navigator and Mustang running the 10R80 10-speed. It also covers the E-Series vans, F-53 and F-59 motorhome chassis, and the 6.0L Excursion. One thing to respect: this is a hand-tool socket with a 1/2 inch drive receiver, so keep the impact gun off it. Heat the nut first to break the locking compound loose and it comes off with a breaker bar and a lot less drama. Ships from the USA.
