Nissan Altima 2.5L Clutch Kit with Pressure Plate

Complete clutch kit for the 2007-2012 Nissan Altima 2.5L with the six-speed manual, and it also covers the 2007-2012 Sentra 2.5L. OE references include 30100JA00A and 30210JA00A, with 06084 as the common aftermarket number. Supplied with pressure plate, disc, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

Dimensions for verification: 11-5/8 in. pressure plate, 9-7/16 in. disc, 21 splines on a 15/16 in. input shaft. The 2.5L manual cars are the fitment here. The V6 and the CVT cars are a different part entirely.

These cars usually come in with a clutch that will not release rather than one that slips: hard shifts into first and reverse, grinding on the 1-2 shift, and a pedal that feels dead near the floor. That is worth checking before you tear it down, because a failing clutch master or slave cylinder gives the same symptom and is a far cheaper fix. If the fluid is black and the pedal recovers after a few fast pumps, chase the hydraulics first.

Bench work: with the transaxle out, check the flywheel for blue heat marks and step wear and cut it if it is not flat. Look at the crank rear main and the input shaft seal while everything is open. Install the disc with the sprung hub facing the way the old one came out, use the alignment tool so the input shaft lines up on the way back together, and torque the cover bolts in a cross pattern. Fit a new release bearing and bleed the hydraulics fully before the first drive.
