Complete master rebuild kit for the Chrysler 45RFE, 545RFE and 65RFE rear-wheel-drive automatics used behind the 3.7L V6 and 4.7L/5.7L V8. It carries the friction plate module, the mating steel plate module, and a full overhaul kit of gaskets, metal-clad seals, O-rings and lip seals, so one box covers a bench rebuild instead of chasing individual seal packs.
Fitment is broad: Chrysler Aspen 2007-2009 (4.7/5.7), Dodge Dakota 2000-2011 (4.7), Durango 1999-2018 (4.7/5.7), Ram 1500 2002-2018 and Ram 2500-3500 2002-2016, plus Jeep Cherokee, Commander, Grand Cherokee 1999-2013, Liberty and Wrangler 2.8L diesel. The 45RFE ran a 4-speed shift pattern early, the 545RFE added the extra ratio in 2003, and the 65RFE is the heavy-duty 6-speed variant behind the diesels, so confirm your year and part number against the case before you order.
Two filters are included: the 4WD/4x4 deep pan filter (which also fits the 2WD applications from 2010 up) and the spin-on style filter. On the bench you soak the new frictions, air-check each clutch drum after you stack the steels and frictions to spec, replace every metal-clad seal and O-ring in the pump and case, and set the new filters before the pan goes back on. This is the overhaul set for a unit that is slipping, flaring on the 1-2 shift, or has burnt fluid from a failed clutch pack.
