45RFE Transmission Solenoid Pack with Filter Kit

This is a complete replacement solenoid block (the solenoid pack with the integrated pressure transducer and range sensor that bolts to the top of the valve body) for the Chrysler 45RFE and 545RFE, bundled with the service parts you need to button the pan back up: a 4WD-style primary filter, the spin-on cooler return filter and a pan gasket. It crosses to OEM numbers 52119435AF, 5170877AF, 68002342AD, 4799937AD and 05179267AC, and uses the black harness plug.

Fitment: Dodge Ram 1500 2002-2010, Ram 2500/3500 2002-2012, Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999-2013 and Chrysler Aspen 2007-2009 with the 45RFE or 545RFE. Match your old pack's part number and plug color before ordering, since late 68RFE-era packs are not the same part.

The pack is the usual cause of limp mode on these trucks: codes like P0750-P0760 shift solenoid faults, P0841/P0869 line pressure sensor codes, P0700 with a stuck-in-second or harsh 2-3 shift, and erratic garage engagement. On the bench it is a pan-drop job: drain and drop the pan, pull the filter, unplug the harness, remove the solenoid pack screws, and set the new pack on the valve body with the gasket screen in place. Torque the pack screws in sequence, install the new filter and spin-on filter, set the pan with the new gasket, then refill and run a quick learn with a scan tool.

Doing the filters and gasket at the same time as the pack means one pan drop and fresh filtration behind the new solenoids, which is how it should be done anyway.
