A760E Transmission Shift Solenoid Set 9-Piece for Lexus

Nine-piece shift solenoid set for the Aisin six-speed automatics used across the Lexus and Toyota rear-drive line: A760, A761E, A960E, AB60E and AB60F (also cataloged as TB-60NF and TB65-SN). The kit covers shift solenoids A/S1, B/S2, C/S3 and D/S4, the SLU lockup solenoid, the SLT line pressure solenoid, and the SL1, SL2 and SL3 linear pressure control solenoids, so the whole valve body gets fresh electronics in one pass instead of a one-at-a-time parts chase.

These are the solenoids behind the classic complaints on this family: a harsh or delayed 1-2, a torque converter shudder at light throttle when the SLU sticks, line pressure that will not come down so every shift lands hard, and shift solenoid performance codes in the P0748 / P0751 / P0756 / P0776 range. Debris from a worn clutch pack and heat-cycled fluid are what usually kill them, so replace the pan filter and flush the cooler circuit at the same time or the new solenoids will pick up the same trash.

On the bench: drop the pan, pull the valve body, and swap the solenoids one at a time so you cannot mix up positions - the linear solenoids look similar but are not interchangeable. Replace the solenoid O-rings, torque the retaining bolts evenly, and clear stored codes and relearn shift adaptives after the fluid fill. Kit weighs 1.62 lb and ships in a 5.24 x 3.07 x 3.03 in box.
