Refurbished solenoid set for the VW/Audi 02E DQ250 6-speed wet DSG mechatronic unit, for clutch pressure, gear actuator and shift faults.
A refurbished set of mechatronic solenoids for the 02E (DQ250) 6-speed wet dual-clutch DSG used in VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars from 2003 on. The set covers the solenoids pictured: the two large clutch pressure valves, the round pressure regulating valves, the flat gear actuator (shift) valves, and the multiplexer valve. They mount directly on the mechatronic hydraulic plate.
Fitment includes the Audi A3 and TT, VW Golf, GTI, Jetta, Passat, Beetle, Eos and Caddy, Seat Leon, Altea and Alhambra, and Skoda Octavia and Superb with the 02E 6-speed DSG, 1.6L through 3.6L. It does not fit the dry 7-speed 0AM (DQ200) or the 0B5 7-speed units.
Solenoid problems on the DQ250 show up as harsh or slipping launches, clunky 1-2 or 2-3 shifts, a flashing PRNDS display, limp mode stuck in one gear, and pressure regulator or gear actuator fault codes. Contaminated fluid is the usual cause, so check the fluid and filter condition and rule out the wiring and sensors before blaming the valves.
To install, drain the DSG, pull the mechatronic unit, and swap the solenoids on the bench one at a time so none end up in the wrong bore. Refill with the correct DSG fluid and a new filter, then run the clutch and gear actuator basic settings with a VW/Audi-capable scan tool. The unit will not shift right until that adaptation is done.
