Complete JF011E CVT valve body with stepper motor, solenoids, harness and two pressure sensors for Nissan, Dodge, Jeep and Mitsubishi.
This is a complete JF011E control valve body assembly for the Jatco/Nissan CVT family, also carried as RE0F10A and F1CJA depending on the vehicle. It ships as a working unit: valve body casting, solenoid pack, the ratio-control stepper motor, the internal harness, and two line pressure sensors already installed, so you are not robbing parts off the failed unit to get the car back on the road.
Fitment covers 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber (1.8L, 2.0L, 2.4L), 2007-2010 Jeep Compass and Patriot (2.0L, 2.4L), 2007-2016 Mitsubishi Lancer (2.0L, 2.4L), 2008-2016 Outlander (2.4L), 2011-2016 Outlander Sport (2.0L, 2.4L), and 2007-2013 Nissan Altima 2.5L and 2008-2015 Rogue 2.5L. Important: this is the DUAL pressure sensor version. The JF011E was built with both one-sensor and two-sensor valve bodies, so drop the pan and count the sensors on the unit in the car before you order. A one-sensor car will throw pressure sensor codes with this body installed.
These bodies are the usual cause of the JF011E complaints techs see every week: a shudder or judder on light throttle that will not clean up after a fluid service, delayed or no forward engagement, ratio-control faults from a worn or seized stepper motor, and P0746, P0847, P0868 or P0841 pressure and solenoid codes. Debris from a failing steel belt or a scored pulley gets pushed through the bores, the valves start to wear the aluminum, and line pressure control falls apart. Once the bores are worn, cleaning the old body is a temporary fix at best.
On the bench: drop the pan, pull the filter, unplug the internal harness at the case connector, unbolt the body in a cross pattern and support it as it comes free so you do not drag the stepper motor against the case. Transfer nothing from the old unit - this one is complete. Torque the bolts evenly, set the stepper motor to the same position noted on the new unit, install a fresh pan gasket and filter, and refill with genuine Nissan NS-2 or NS-3 CVT fluid (Mitsubishi CVTF-J1, Mopar CVTF+4 on the Caliber/Compass/Patriot). Do not substitute regular ATF. Finish with the CVT fluid deterioration counter reset and a relearn drive so the TCM re-adapts to the new solenoid characteristics.
