JF015E CVT Pulley Bearing Kit for Nissan Versa Sentra

This is the pulley bearing set for the Jatco JF015E, the CVT7 unit Nissan lists as RE0F11A. Four alloy-steel bearings, bearing set number JF1501, that carry the primary and secondary pulley shafts inside the case. They are the parts you replace any time the unit comes apart for a belt, a pulley set, or a converter job, because putting used bearings back behind a new belt is how a rebuild comes back.

Fitment covers the 2012-up JF015E / RE0F11A applications: Nissan Versa, Sentra, Note, Micra, March, Juke, Almera, Livina, NV200 and Tiida in 1.2L through 1.6L, Chevrolet Spark 1.0L, Mitsubishi Mirage, Attrage and Lancer 1.0L to 1.6L, Renault Scala, and the Suzuki Swift, Solio, Alto, Lapin, Spacia and Wagon R. Check the tag on the case before you order, since Nissan ran the JF015E alongside the larger JF011E and the two share nothing.

On the bench the tell is noise. A JF015E that whines under light throttle and goes quiet when you lift, or that has metallic glitter in the pan and on the magnet, has bearings that have started to break down and are feeding debris straight into the valve body and the step motor. Once the fluid is contaminated the pulley faces score and the belt loses its bite, which is what shows up to the customer as slip, flare, or a CVT that will not hold ratio. Replacing the bearing set with the pulleys out is the only time it is cheap to do, and it is the difference between a unit that runs and one that comes back on the hook.
