A replacement steel push belt for the Jatco JF015E CVT, sold by Nissan as the RE0F11A. The belt carries part number 901072 and replaces 901068. The JF015E is the small CVT behind the 1.6L and 1.8L engines in the Nissan Sentra and Versa, among others.
A belt that has worn or stretched shows up as a shudder or slip under light throttle, RPM flare when pulling away, a whining or grinding noise, and eventually limp mode with ratio or pulley codes. On teardown, check the pulley faces closely: a slipping belt scores the sheaves, and a new belt on scored pulleys will fail again quickly.
Read the number stamped on the band of the old belt before you order and make sure it matches 901072 or 901068. The belt goes on with the primary pulley opened up and the secondary pulley held apart. Install it in the same direction as the one you pulled, then refill with Nissan NS-3 CVT fluid and run the CVT relearn procedure.
