Replaces the worn charge pump on a Jatco JF015E CVT so line pressure comes back up and the steel belt stops slipping under load.
This is the charge pump for the Jatco JF015E / RE0F11A CVT, the CVT7 unit Nissan calls Xtronic with the auxiliary two-speed gearbox. It is the part that makes line pressure for the primary and secondary pulley pistons, the forward and reverse clutch packs, and the torque converter feed. If the pump is worn or the regulator valve is scored, the pulleys cannot clamp the steel belt and the unit slips, shudders on takeoff, or whines and drops out of drive when it gets hot.
The set replaces OE part numbers 31705-X428B, 31705-X428C, 31705-X428E, 31705-X427D, 31705-X427E, 31340-3JX0A and 31340-3JX0B, and it ships with the pressure valve kit rather than just the pump body. That matters, because when a belt or pulley lets go the debris goes straight through the pump and the regulator valve bore, and reusing the old valve puts you right back where you started.
Fitment covers 2013-2019 Sentra 1.6L and 1.8L, 2012-2019 Versa and Versa Note 1.6L, 2013-2015 NV200 1.5L, 2010-2015 Cube and March/Micra 1.2L, 2011-2015 Tiida, 2012-2016 Sylphy, 2012-2015 Note, and 2013-2015 AD Van. It also fits the Mitsubishi versions of the same CVT7 box: 2013-2015 Lancer 1.5L to 1.8L, Attrage, RVR/ASX 1.8L and eK-Wagon.
Replace it with the unit on the bench during an overhaul, not as a shot in the dark. Get the case apart, inspect the pump gears and the housing face for scoring, transfer the new pressure valve in with clean fluid, and prime the pump before the unit goes back in. Any JF015E that came apart with a shredded belt should get a pump, not a cleaned pump.
