JF017E CVT Transmission Bearing Kit with RNU208-3 Roller Bearing

A four-piece bearing set for the Jatco JF016E and JF017E (Nissan RE0F10D and RE0F10E) CVTs used in the Nissan Altima, Rogue, Murano and Pathfinder and several Mitsubishi and Suzuki models. The set includes one RNU208-3 cylindrical roller bearing plus the B34-18AUR, B45-128UR and 55TM05U40AL deep groove ball bearings.

These CVTs are known for a rising whine or drone that tracks vehicle speed, and a worn pulley or shaft bearing is a common cause. Once a bearing starts shedding metal it contaminates the fluid and scores the belt and pulley faces, so these bearings get replaced whenever the unit is apart for a belt, pulley or valve body job.

Before ordering, check the numbers stamped on the bearings you pulled against the four listed here. Press the new bearings on with a driver that loads only the race being installed, never through the balls or rollers, and flush or replace the cooler before refilling with Nissan NS-3 CVT fluid.
