TH400 Automatic Floor Shifter Kit with 12 Inch Chrome Arm

This is a complete floor shifter kit built for the GM Turbo 400 (TH400) three-speed automatic, the kind used in hot rods, muscle cars and swaps where the factory column shift is gone or a console shift is wanted. It uses a 12 inch chrome shift arm with a billet aluminum knob.

The kit comes with the shifter body, the linkage rods and mounting brackets for the transmission side, and a 5 inch round black boot with a stainless trim ring. The gate has a lockout so the stick cannot be knocked from drive into reverse or park by accident.

Mount the shifter to the floor with the lever centered in the tunnel opening, bolt the bracket to the TH400 case, and connect the rod to the transmission shift lever. Put the transmission in neutral and the shifter in neutral before you set rod length, then run through every gear to confirm park locks and each detent lines up with the shifter gate. Hook up the neutral safety or reverse light wiring on your car so it only starts in park or neutral.
