About this product

A lot of late-model Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep automatics ship with a sealed transmission and no dipstick from the factory, so checking fluid level means either a scan tool or a trip to the dealer. This service dipstick gets you back to a two-minute driveway check. Drop it down the fill tube until it bottoms, pull it out, and read the level off the clearly marked stainless tip.

It replaces dealer numbers 8863B, 9336, 9336A, and 917-327, and covers the 42RLE, NAG1, 45RFE, and 62TE transmissions behind the 2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 5.7, 6.1, and 6.4 engines. The braided stainless body flexes down the tube, the ABS handle keeps a grip in oily hands, and a printed temperature-versus-level chart comes in the box so you read it right. Meant as a check tool only, so pull it back out when you are done rather than leaving it in the tube. Ships from the USA.
