62TE Transmission Oil Pan and Filter Kit 265-833

A complete replacement oil pan kit for the Chrysler 62TE 6-speed front-wheel-drive automatic. The kit includes a steel pan with a threaded drain plug, a new transmission filter and a pan gasket, so the pan swap and the filter service happen in one job. It replaces the factory pan listed under 68018555AA, 05078555AA and 05078556AA, and matches the Dorman-style 265-833 number.

Fitment covers the 62TE in the 2011-2014 Chrysler 200, 2007-2008 Pacifica, 2007-2010 Sebring, 2008-2016 Town and Country, 2008-2014 Dodge Avenger, 2008-2018 Grand Caravan, 2009-2018 Journey, 2012-2015 Ram C/V and 2014-2018 ProMaster 1500/2500/3500 with the 62TE.

The factory 62TE pan has no drain plug, so every fluid service means dropping a full pan of ATF over the crossmember. Pans also get dented from jack points and road debris, and a bent flange is a common source of a slow seep that the gasket alone will not fix. This kit solves both: the drain plug lets you drain before the pan comes off, and the new flange gives the gasket a flat surface to seal against.

Install: the factory pan has no plug, so loosen its bolts on one side and let it tip to drain. Remove the pan and the old filter, clean the case sealing surface, install the new filter, set the gasket and torque the pan bolts evenly in a cross pattern. Refill with ATF+4 and check level hot per the 62TE procedure. Confirm your transmission is a 62TE (6-speed) and not the 4-speed 41TE before ordering.
