JF011E RE0F10A CVT Transmission Master Rebuild Kit Nissan

This is a complete master rebuild kit for the Jatco JF011E, also sold as the RE0F10A and F1CJA, the belt-and-pulley CVT found under a huge slice of 2007-and-up front-drive cars. It covers the clutch pack frictions and steels, the internal oil filter, and the full gasket and seal set, so a shop pulling one of these apart on the bench has the wear items in one box instead of ordering a friction here and a seal set there.

Fitment covers the common JF011E/RE0F10A applications: Nissan Altima 2.5, Rogue, Sentra, Versa, Juke and X-Trail; Jeep Compass and Patriot and the Dodge Caliber (branded F1CJA); Mitsubishi Outlander and Lancer; and the Suzuki Kizashi. These are the units that come in with a shudder or judder on light throttle, a whine that rises with road speed, slipping under load, or stored codes like P0776 and P0841 once the frictions glaze and the fluid breaks down.

On the bench this is a full teardown kit: strip the unit, clean the valve body and stepper motor bore, replace all frictions and steels, drop in the new internal filter, and reseal with the supplied gaskets and lip seals. The friction plates use an asbestos-free facing for heat stability and the steels are precision-ground for flatness so the pack clamps evenly. Roughly 80 percent of the seals are FKM fluorine rubber for heat and fluid resistance, with NAK lip seals on the shafts.

Two bench notes on these Jatco CVTs: they are sensitive to fluid, so refill only with the correct Nissan NS-2/NS-3 type CVT fluid, and a rebuild is the right time to inspect the belt and pulleys and the stepper motor for wear, since a worn belt or ratio sensor will bring the unit right back regardless of a fresh clutch pack.
