Replaces the worn steel push belt inside a JF011E RE0F10A CVT on 2007-2014 Nissan Altima, Rogue, Sentra and Maxima units.
This is the steel push belt that runs between the primary and secondary pulleys inside the Jatco JF011E, the CVT Nissan also catalogs as RE0F10A. It carries OEM reference numbers 901047 and 901066 and fits the 2007-2014 Altima, Rogue, Sentra and Maxima applications that use this unit. The same JF011E family shows up under Mitsubishi, Dodge, Jeep and Suzuki badges, so check your unit tag against the RE0F10A/JF011E callout before ordering.
The belt is not a rubber belt despite the name. It is a stack of steel elements held by two banded ring sets, and it transmits torque by pushing against the pulley faces rather than pulling. When the ring stack stretches or the element faces polish over, the belt starts to slip against the pulley sheaves. That is what produces the classic JF011E complaints: a flare or rev-up under light throttle, judder from a stop, a whine that rises with engine speed instead of road speed, and eventually a P0776 or P0841 pressure code once the TCM sees ratio error it cannot correct with line pressure.
On the bench, the belt comes out with the pulley set as an assembly. Pull the converter and side cover, unbolt the secondary pulley retainer, then lift the primary pulley, secondary pulley and belt out together as a unit and separate them on the bench. Inspect both pulley sheave faces before you install the replacement. If the sheaves are scored, stepped or have a visible wear band where the old belt rode, a new belt will chew itself up on that surface and you need pulleys too. Keep the belt clean and oriented in its original direction of rotation on reassembly, and always drop the pan and replace the filter and fluid in the same job so debris from the failed belt does not go straight back through the valve body.
This is a remanufactured belt, inspected before shipment. Plan on a full fluid fill with the correct Nissan NS-2 or NS-3 CVT fluid for the application and a TCM fluid-degradation reset after the repair.
