10R140 Transmission Filter and Oil Pan Gasket Kit

This is the filter and oil pan gasket set you need for a fluid and filter service on the Ford 10R140 ten-speed automatic. It replaces Ford part LC3Z-7G186-A (also catalogued as FT211), the same internal spin-style filter and pan gasket assembly the factory service procedure calls for when the pan comes down.

Fitment covers 2020-2024 F-250, F-350 and 2020-2023 F-450, F-550 and F-600 Super Duty, plus 2024 F-650 and F-750 medium duty chassis running the 10R140. That is the 6.7L Power Stroke and 7.3L gas trucks with the ten-speed behind them.

The pan gasket is molded ACM rubber rather than cork or paper, so it seals against the aluminum pan rail without swelling in hot MERCON ULV and does not need sealant. Clean the pan rail, set the gasket dry, and torque the pan bolts evenly in a cross pattern. The filter media is a pleated paper element sized to trap the clutch material and bearing debris that circulates through a high-mileage 10R140 before it reaches the pump and the solenoid body.

Plan this service at a fluid change interval, or any time you drop the pan to inspect for debris after a harsh-shift or slipping complaint. A partially blocked filter starves the pump, drops line pressure, and shows up as delayed engagement and flare on the 1-2 and 4-5 shifts. Have MERCON ULV on hand, since the 10R140 will not tolerate a substitute fluid.
