Seven-piece solenoid set with harness for 2003-2007 GM 4L60E units: shift A and B, 3-2 downshift, EPC pressure control and TCC/PWM.
Seven-piece solenoid set for the GM 4L60E covering the electrical side of the valve body in one shot: shift solenoid A, shift solenoid B, the 3-2 downshift solenoid, the EPC (pressure control) solenoid, the TCC/PWM lockup solenoid, plus the internal wiring harness and mounting hardware. Fitment is the late 4L60E, 2003-2007 GM applications across Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Pontiac, Hummer and Oldsmobile trucks and SUVs. If you are working on a 1997-2003 unit, use the earlier-style kit instead - the harness and connector differ.
Replaces OE numbers 8677314, 8684216, 24212690, 24227792, 8683187, 24230298-34605A, 74420K-1, K77995, 12121299, 24215111, 24219581 and 8-24219-581-0. Typical symptoms that land here: P0753 and P0758 shift solenoid electrical codes, P0785 on the 3-2 downshift, P1810 pressure switch faults, a truck stuck in second or third, harsh full-line-pressure shifts from a failed EPC, or the converter refusing to lock up at cruise.
On the bench or on the lift: drain and drop the pan, pull the filter, unclip the case connector from inside the case, then remove the valve body far enough to reach the solenoid bores. Each solenoid comes out with its retaining clip and bolt - keep the bolts sorted because the lengths differ and a long bolt in the wrong hole will bottom out. Replace the harness while you are in there rather than reusing a twenty-year-old one; chafed harness insulation makes a brand new solenoid read as defective. Torque the valve body bolts in sequence, install a fresh filter and pan gasket, refill with Dexron VI, and clear codes before road testing.
Doing the full set at once is the right call on a high-mileage 4L60E. These solenoids age together on the same fluid and the same heat cycles, so replacing one usually means dropping the pan again a few months later for the next one.
