Full solenoid set for the GM 4L60E valve body: EPC, TCC, PWM and 3-2 control, covering 1993-2006 Chevy, GMC, Pontiac and Cadillac units.
This set replaces every electrical solenoid on the 4L60E valve body in one shot: the EPC (pressure control) solenoid, the TCC lockup solenoid, the PWM solenoid, and the 3-2 control solenoid. When one of these fails the others are usually the same age and the same heat cycles behind it, so changing the set is the repair that actually stays fixed instead of coming back on the next pan drop.
Replaces OE numbers 24212327, 10478120, 24227747 and 12121299, and covers 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E units. Listed fitment includes 1993-2002 Blazer and Jimmy 2.2L/4.2L/4.3L, 1993-2002 Envoy and Trailblazer, 1993-2002 Tahoe and Yukon 4.8/5.0/5.3/5.7L including 4WD, 1994-2002 Firebird 3.4L/3.8L, 1994-2002 Camaro V6 and V8, 1994-1996 station wagon 5.7L, and 1993-1996 Cadillac Fleetwood 4.9L/5.7L. Confirm your OE number against the tag before ordering, because the 1993-2002 and 2003-up valve bodies do not interchange.
The job is done with the pan and filter off and the valve body still in the case on most applications. Drop the pan, pull the filter, unplug the internal harness at each solenoid, and unbolt the retainers. Watch the checkballs when the valve body comes down, keep the bolts in order because they are different lengths, and torque the valve body bolts evenly to spec so the separator plate does not distort. Refill and reset adaptive learn after the repair.
Symptoms this set addresses are the usual electrical 4L60E complaints: a P0748 or P1860 code, torque converter shudder or no lockup at cruise, harsh or delayed 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, and line pressure that stays high because the EPC solenoid has stopped regulating. Those are hydraulic control faults, not mechanical ones, so the transmission does not have to come out to fix them.
