The GM 6L80E and 6L90E are the six-speed rear-wheel-drive automatics behind most 2006-2014 LS and LT V8 trucks, SUVs and performance cars. This master rebuild kit gathers the wear items you replace on a teardown — steel clutch plates, the full set of clutch-pack sealing rings, lip seals, and the pan and valve body gaskets — in one box matched to OE dimensions, so you are not chasing individual part numbers while the case sits open on the bench.

It is the fix for the common 6L80 complaints — a shuddering torque converter clutch, delayed or harsh 1-2 and 4-5-6 shifts from worn clutch seals, and cross-leaks that bleed off line pressure. A fresh seal and steel set restores clamp on the clutch packs and brings shift quality back to where the valve body was calibrated.
