6R140 Transmission Filter and Pan Gasket Kit, Ford Super Duty TorqShift

This is the filter and pan gasket you drop in when you service the Ford 6R140 TorqShift six-speed. It replaces the OE filter BC3Z-7A098-B (also sold as BC3Z7A098B and the aftermarket FT187) plus the oil pan gasket, so a routine pan-drop and fluid change is one part number instead of chasing pieces at the counter.

Fitment covers the 6R140 across the Ford lineup: 2011-2019 F-250, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty, 2011-2022 F-350 Super Duty, 2016-2024 E-350 and E-450, 2000-2024 F-650, 2016-2024 F-750, and 2018-2023 F-53 and F-59 motorhome chassis. On the bench the job is straightforward: drop the pan, pull the old filter straight down off the pump inlet, seat the new filter until it clicks home, and clean both sealing surfaces before setting the gasket. A thin film of assembly gel or a dab of RTV on the pan side helps hold the gasket in place while you start the bolts. Torque the pan bolts evenly in a crossing pattern, refill with Mercon LV, and check level at temperature.
