6R140 Transmission Service Kit with Fluid and Filters

A complete pan-drop service for the Ford 6R140 TorqShift behind the 6.7L Powerstroke, boxed as one kit so you are not chasing a filter at the counter with the pan already off. It contains three gallons of full synthetic Dexron VI automatic transmission fluid and the DF-320 filter kit, which covers both the internal pan filter and the external spin-on.

Filters in the kit replace Ford BC3Z-7A098-B and BC3Z-7A191-B. The 6R140 is a dual-filter transmission and both get changed together. The spin-on on the side of the case is the one people forget, and skipping it leaves the old media in the circuit after you just paid for clean fluid.

Bench notes: three gallons is the pan-drop quantity. A full fluid exchange or a converter replacement takes considerably more, so order accordingly. Some model years of this transmission call for Mercon LV rather than Dexron VI, so check your door label and owner's manual before you fill. Drop the pan with the truck level, change both filters, torque the pan bolts in sequence, then fill and set level hot.
