DL501 S tronic Transmission Service Kit with 7L ATF

Full service kit for the 0B5 DL501 seven-speed S tronic wet dual-clutch transaxle. Kit part number 0B5325330KIT. Contents: seven 1-liter bottles of German-made fluid to Audi spec G 052 529 A2, the internal sump filter, the external dual-clutch canister filter with its seal, the transmission pan gasket, and two seal ring washers for the drain and fill plugs. Filter and gasket components are FEBI Germany and ELRING.

Verified fitment covers Audi RS5 2013-2015, S4 2010-2016, S5 3.0L 2010-2012, S5 2013-2017, and S6 and S7 2013-2018 - the longitudinal quattro cars running the 0B5 box. Note the DL501 uses two separate filters: a sump filter inside the pan and a spin-on style canister filter for the clutch and cooling circuit. The DL501 failure pattern starts as a shudder or judder pulling away from a stop in first, then a hesitation or a hard slam on the 1-2 and 2-3 as the mechatronic tries to compensate for clutch clearance it can no longer read correctly. Degraded fluid drives all of it: the wet clutch packs are engaged hydraulically and cooled by this same fluid, so once it oxidizes the clutch friction coefficient moves and the adaptation values drift. The Audi interval on this unit is roughly 40,000 miles, and it should be treated as a hard interval rather than a suggestion.

Job sequence: car level and at operating temperature, drain, drop the pan, replace the sump filter and gasket, spin off and replace the canister filter, then fill through the fill plug and set the level in the specified fluid-temperature window with a scan tool on trans temp. Plan on clearing the mechatronic adaptation values and letting the car relearn after the fill. A pan-and-canister service takes close to the full seven liters.
