DSG Transmission Adaptation Scan Tool for VW and Audi

Most generic code readers will pull a P-code off a DSG box and stop there. This one carries the service routine that actually finishes the job: transmission adaptation. After a mechatronic swap, a clutch pack replacement or a fluid and filter service on a DQ250 or DL501, the unit has to relearn clutch touch points and gear positions or it will judder off the line and flare between shifts. Coverage is the VAG group specifically - Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini - with full-system access rather than engine-only. It scans ECM, BCM, brakes, lighting, windows, doors and mirrors, reads and clears codes, shows ECU information and graphs live data streams together so you can watch clutch pressure and gear engagement against road speed on the same screen.

The service list runs past 100 routines, including ABS bleeding, SAS reset, battery registration, oil reset, crankshaft sensor relearn, EPB retract, throttle body relearn, DPF regeneration, TPMS reset and injector coding. Bidirectional control lets you command a component and watch it answer, which is how you tell a dead solenoid from a solenoid that is never being asked to move. It also handles advanced ECU coding for OE setting changes and retrofits.

Runs on Android 6.0 with a 4-inch screen, battery powered, with free lifetime updates. It also works as a universal OBD2 scanner on any car using the OBD2/EOBD protocol, so it covers smog readiness and engine codes outside the VAG lineup. Function availability varies by model and year.
