Bench-mount holding fixture that clamps a GM TH350, TH400, 200-4R, 700R4, or 4L80E case by its factory lugs so you can tear it down and spin it 360 degrees hands-free.
This is the J-8763-B holding fixture, the bench tool that turns a transmission rebuild from a wrestling match into a controlled teardown. It bolts to your bench with the included base, and the case mounts to the fixture by its own factory bolt lugs, so the whole unit is locked down and both your hands are free to pull drums, snap rings, and the valve body.
Dual tightening handles let it swing a full 360 degrees and lock at any angle, which is what you want when you are chasing a valve body off the bottom or standing the case on end to drop the pump. A lifting ring is built in for getting the assembled case on and off the fixture.
Fits a wide range of GM units: 180C (3L30), 200, 200C, 200-4R, 250, 250-C, 350 (TH350), 350-C, 375, 400 (TH400/3L80), 425, 475 (3L80-HD), 700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E, and 4L80E. Builders also run the Ford AOD on it; the center post is M16x2 thread if you need a longer bolt for a deeper case. Many shops weld the base directly to an engine stand to gain the stand rotation. Ships from the USA, handling in 1-2 business days.
