JF017E RE0F10D CVT Valve Body Nissan Altima Murano Pathfinder

This is a remanufactured valve body for the Jatco JF017E (Nissan code RE0F10D), the CVT8 unit behind the 3.5L V6 in Nissan and Infiniti crossovers and sedans. It is the part you go to when the transmission judders on light throttle, flares or slips on a ramp to speed, drops into a limp/fail-safe, or throws pressure and ratio codes that trace back to a worn valve bore rather than the belt or pulleys. Replacing the valve body restores clean line pressure control and lockup without pulling the whole unit apart.

It replaces OE part numbers 31705-29X0A, 31705-29X0B, 31705-29X0E, 31705-29X1A, 31705-29X1B, 31705-29X6D, 31728-29X0D and 31397-1XF0D. Fitment covers the 3.5L 3498cc V6 in the 2013-2018 Altima, 2015-2019 Murano, 2013-2018 Pathfinder, 2016-2019 Maxima, 2015-2017 Quest and the 2014-2016 Infiniti QX60. Confirm your existing valve body casting and part number before ordering, since the 2.5L four-cylinder cars use a different Jatco unit.

Each core is torn down, cleaned, inspected, and its valves and bores checked for wear before the solenoids are cleaned, calibrated and function-tested separately. The assembly ships as a complete valve body with solenoids installed. Some light valve-to-bore witness marking is normal on a reman unit. Plan to drop the pan, transfer your filter, refill with the correct NS-3 CVT fluid, and relearn the transmission after install; no separate programming is required on most of these applications.
