10R80 Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan Kit with Filter, Ford

This is a complete service pan kit for the Ford 10R80 ten-speed automatic, the transmission behind millions of 2017-up F-150s, Mustangs, Expeditions, Explorers, Rangers, Broncos and Lincoln Navigators and Aviators. It replaces the factory plastic pan (HL3Z7A194A and related numbers) with a cast-aluminum pan and gives you everything needed for a full fluid and filter service in one box: the pan, a new transmission filter, a reusable metal gasket, mounting bolts and a magnetic drain plug.

The reason to swap is the factory pan itself. Ford's original 10R80 pan is molded plastic with the filter built in and no drain plug, so even a routine fluid change means pulling the whole pan and buying a new pan-and-filter assembly every time. Those plastic pans are also known to warp and weep at the sealing flange as they heat-cycle. This cast-aluminum pan bolts in the same place, seals with a rigid metal gasket that resists warping, and adds a magnetic drain plug so you can drop and refill fluid without removing the pan and catch ferrous wear material at every service.

The pan runs slightly deeper than stock with internal baffles that keep the filter located and the fluid from sloshing off the pickup, which helps on trucks that tow or see hard launches. Fitment covers F-150 2017-2025, Expedition 2018-2025, Mustang 2018-2025, Ranger 2019-2025, Explorer 2020-2025, Bronco 2021-2025, Navigator 2018-2025 and Aviator 2020-2025 equipped with the 10R80. It does not fit the F-150 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid. Verify your transmission is the 10R80 and check your OE pan number before installing.
