Five solenoids plus a new pressure switch manifold for 2003-up GM 4L60E and 4L65E: shift A and B, 3-2, EPC and TCC/PWM in one kit.
A 6-piece master kit for the later GM 4L60E and 4L65E valve body: the A and B shift solenoids, 3-2 downshift solenoid, EPC pressure control solenoid, TCC/PWM lockup solenoid and a new manifold pressure switch (the transmission fluid pressure switch, or TFP).
Fitment: GM 4L60E and 4L65E, 2003 and up. The 2003-up units use a different pressure switch manifold and EPC connector than the 1993-2002 transmissions, so confirm your model year before ordering.
What it fixes: failsafe second or third gear start, erratic or harsh shifts, TCC shudder and a set of codes that often travel together, including P0751, P0756, P0748, P0742 and TFP circuit codes like P1810. A leaking or failed pressure switch manifold can set shift and TCC codes on its own, which is why it pays to replace it with the solenoids.
On the bench: pull the pan and filter, unplug the internal harness, and replace the pressure switch and each solenoid one at a time. Use new O-rings lubed with ATF, torque the valve body and manifold bolts to spec, then clear codes and road test through every gear.
