Pulls and drives the tail housing bushing on a 4L60E without dropping the extension housing, so a leaking rear seal gets fixed in the car.
Two-piece remover and installer for the extension housing bushing that rides on the slip yoke. When that bushing wears, the yoke walks, the rear seal starts dripping on the crossmember, and replacing just the seal buys you a few hundred miles. This tool gets the bushing out and the new one in with the housing still bolted to the case.
The remover threads through the bushing and a drive screw draws it out toward you. The installer drives the replacement in straight so it does not cock in the bore and shave itself on the way down. No heat, no chisel, no punching the old one back into the housing.
Fits the GM tail housings that share the same yoke and bushing: 4L60E, 700R4, TH350, TH180, TH200, 200-4R, NV1500, and the Borg-Warner T5 including Tremec and World Class versions. Sized for bushings with a 1.500 in minimum ID and 1.700 in maximum OD, on shafts up to 1.25 in diameter. Camoo part CE2-0160, about 1.75 lb.
