4L60E Gasket and Seal Overhaul Kit KP33900EF, 1993-2003

KP33900EF is the soft-parts overhaul kit for the 1993-2003 GM 4L60E and 4L65E. It carries the gaskets, seals and rings you replace on every teardown: upper and lower valve body gaskets in both the 1993-2000 and 2001-up styles, a set of 8 valve body check balls, the metal-clad front pump seal, pan gasket, pump bolt O-rings, electrical connector and filter seal O-rings, accumulator piston O-rings, piston lip seals, 2-4 servo inner and outer O-rings, Teflon sealing rings, and pump screens.

Use it on a full rebuild, or when a unit is leaking and losing pressure from hardened seals: slipping on the 2-4 band from a leaking servo seal, delayed engagement from worn Teflon rings, or a front pump seal weeping at the bellhousing. Clutch frictions, steels and bands are not included, so pair it with a friction pack if the clutches are burnt.

On the bench, match the valve body gasket to your spacer plate (the 2001-up plate uses a different pattern than 1993-2000), soak lip seals in ATF before assembly, size the Teflon rings before installing the pump, and put all 8 check balls back in their original pockets.
