Five-solenoid set for the GM 4L60E and 4L65E: shift A and B, 3-2 downshift, EPC pressure control and TCC PWM, listed for 1993-2006 units.
A complete refurbished solenoid set for the GM 4L60E, also listed for the 4L65E and 4L70E. The kit carries all five electrical solenoids that mount to the valve body: shift solenoid A, shift solenoid B, the 3-2 downshift control solenoid, the EPC (electronic pressure control) solenoid and the TCC PWM converter clutch solenoid. These are reconditioned parts, not new, which is what keeps a full five-piece set well under the price of a new OE kit.
Replace the set when you are chasing solenoid and pressure codes such as P0751/P0756 (shift A), P0753/P0758 (shift B), P0748 (EPC) or P0740/P0741 (TCC). Typical complaints that lead here: stuck in second or third, harsh or late shifts that come and go, no converter lockup on the highway, or a flare on the 3-2 downshift. If the pan is already down and one solenoid has failed on a high-mileage unit, doing all five at once saves a second teardown.
On the bench: drain and drop the pan, pull the filter and unplug the internal harness. Remove the retaining clips on shift solenoids A and B and slide them out, then unbolt the EPC, 3-2 and TCC PWM solenoids. Wet each O-ring with clean ATF before installing so the seals do not roll, torque the bolts to spec, reconnect the harness and fit a new filter and pan gasket. Clear codes and road test through all four gears with lockup.
Fitment note: the listing covers GM vehicles with the 4L60E/4L65E from 1993 to 2006, but GM changed the TCC and pressure-switch arrangement over those years. Compare your old solenoids and connectors against the photos before ordering.
