4L60E / 4L65E Super Master Rebuild Kit with Raybestos Clutches, Steels, Pistons, and Borg Warner Band (2004-Up)

An overhaul kit gets the transmission sealed back up, but it does not put fresh clutches and steels in it. This is the full master kit, the one you order when the 4L60E is coming all the way apart and you want every wear item new before it goes back under the truck. It bundles the complete overhaul package, the gaskets, metal-clad seals, sealing rings, and the full run of O-rings and lip seals, together with the friction and reaction hard parts that actually carry the load.

The friction module is Raybestos, including their high-energy 3-4 clutches, which is the pack that gets cooked first when a 4L60E lets go on a loaded pull. Behind the frictions you get a matched 22-piece steel module so the clutch packs go back together with the right stack and clearance, plus a 3-piece molded piston set to replace the bonded pistons that harden and leak with age and heat. Rounding it out is a genuine Borg Warner 2-1/4 inch wide band, a thrust washer kit, and a deep pan filter, so the parts that wear are all new in one shot instead of ordered piecemeal halfway through the build.
