6HP21 Refurbished Transmission Solenoid Kit for BMW

Full set of shift and pressure control solenoids for the ZF 6HP21 six-speed, also used in the 6HP28 and the X-drive variants (6HP21X, 6HP28X). It replaces OE 1068227066. These are refurbished units matched to factory flow rate and coil resistance.

BMW coverage includes the 2008-2010 528i, 535i and 550i, 2008-2009 650i, 2009-2012 750i and 750Li, 2011-2012 740i and 740Li, 2007-2013 X5 and 2008-2014 X6, plus the Alpina B7. Jaguar coverage is the 2010-2012 XF, 2011-2012 XJ, and 2010-2014 XK, XKR and XKR-S with the 5.0L.

A worn solenoid on these boxes causes harsh 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, flare on downshifts, a bang into reverse, drivetrain malfunction warnings and codes in the pressure regulator and shift solenoid range. With the pan and mechatronic unit out, swap all the solenoids at once rather than one at a time so the whole valve body is back on the same wear curve. Use the original round connector sleeve, refill with the correct ZF Lifeguard fluid, and reset adaptations afterward.
