6R140 Deep Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan, Ford Super Duty

Deep cast-aluminum replacement pan for the Ford 6R140 TorqShift, the six-speed automatic that sits behind the 6.7L Power Stroke in 2011-2019 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks. The deeper sump carries extra automatic transmission fluid, and the finned casting pulls heat out of that fluid the way a thin factory stamped-steel pan cannot. On a truck that tows or hauls, keeping fluid temperature down is what keeps the clutch packs and the torque converter lockup alive.

The factory 6R140 pan has no drain plug, so a routine fluid-and-filter service means dropping the whole pan and wearing whatever comes out. This pan is drilled and tapped for a drain plug, so you can pull a sample or drain it clean without unbolting the sump every time. The cast body also resists the flex and warping that lets a stamped pan start seeping at the rail after a few heat cycles.
