6R80 Lead Frame Kit with Valve Body Connector and Filter

The lead frame is the flat internal harness that carries TCM signals across the 6R80 valve body to each shift and pressure solenoid. Its copper traces crack and corrode with heat, and the result is the classic 6R80 complaint list: a harsh or late 1-2 shift, flare shifts, slipping into 4th, TCC shudder between 40 and 60 mph, delayed Park-to-Drive engagement, limp mode, and solenoid performance codes such as P0751, P0756, P0762, P0766, P0771 and P0776. This kit replaces the lead frame and the parts you disturb to get to it.

Contents: the lead frame assembly (replaces 926-149, AL3Z-7G276-A, -B, -D and AL3P-7G276-AG), the valve body module pass-through connector (6L2Z-7G276-AA), the FKM connector bore seal (AL3Z-7F401-A), and a transmission filter with gasket (FT-188, BL3Z-7A098-A). The connector seal is a known leak point on these units, so replacing it while the pan is down is cheap insurance.

On the bench: drop the pan and drain the fluid, pull the filter, unbolt the valve body (T40 Torx) and lower it. Unclip the old lead frame from each solenoid terminal and the case connector, lay the new one along the valve body and seat every terminal fully, then install the new connector seal in the case bore and the new filter. Reinstall the valve body to spec, refill with Mercon LV and check level hot.

Fits the 6R80 in the 2010-2020 F-150, 2017-2020 F-250/F-350 Super Duty, 2012-2017 Expedition, 2011-2017 Mustang, Transit 150/250/350, Lincoln Navigator and Mark LT (3.5L EcoBoost, 3.7L V6, 5.0L and 6.2L V8). Does not fit the 6R60 or 6R140. Confirm the transmission tag before ordering.
