6R80 Valve Body Assembly with Solenoids, Ford F-150 Mustang

This is a complete 6R80 valve body assembly for the 2015-2017 six-speed automatic, sold with the linear solenoid pack already fitted so you drop it in as one unit. It replaces the factory lower casting FL3P-7A101-AA, upper casting FL3P-7A092-BA and the FL3P-7Z490-BA separator plate, and it comes shift-tested rather than as a bare core you have to build up.

It fits 2015-2017 F-150 with the 5.0L V8, 3.5L V6 and Gen1 3.5L EcoBoost, 2015-2017 Mustang (5.0L, 3.7L, 2.3L EcoBoost), 2015-2017 Expedition and Navigator, and 2015-2019 Transit, on NON start-stop trucks only. Read this part before you buy: it does NOT fit start-stop vehicles, it does NOT fit 2018-up F-150 running the 10R80 ten-speed, it does NOT fit the Gen2 3.5L EcoBoost, and it does NOT fit Super Duty with the 6R100. Check your build sheet and confirm the transmission is a 6R80 before ordering.

Reach for this when the trans is throwing solenoid and hydraulic codes the shift kit will not settle: P0751 and P0761 shift solenoid performance, P0868 low line pressure, P0730 wrong gear ratio, or a blanket P0700. Those show up as a bang into gear, a 2-3 flare, a soft or slipping upshift, or a truck that drops to limp mode. When the bores are worn or a solenoid is stuck, swapping the whole valve body is faster and more reliable than chasing one circuit.

On the bench, drop the pan and filter, unplug the internal harness, pull the old valve body, then set the new one on the case, torque the bolts down in a cross pattern to the factory sequence, reconnect the harness, and run a new filter and fluid.
