OEM separator plate for the GM 4L60E valve body, with the paper gaskets and filter screens already bonded to both faces so you skip loose-gasket fitment.
This is the GM Genuine Parts 24241783 separator plate for the 4L60E automatic, the steel plate that sits between the valve body and the case and meters fluid to every hydraulic circuit through its calibrated orifices. It is a true OE part, the same plate GM installs and validates, so the hole sizes match the factory calibration instead of an aftermarket guess.
What sets this plate apart is that the gaskets and the check-ball filter screens are already bonded to both faces. On a standard rebuild you would fit two loose paper gaskets and drop in separate screens; here they are pre-installed and sealed, so there is nothing to line up and nothing to shift when you set the valve body down. Builders replace this plate when the original is worn where the check balls and accumulator pistons have pounded the seats, which causes cross-leaks, soft or delayed shifts, and line-pressure loss.
On the bench, set your check balls into the case-side pockets, lay the plate on with the bonded gasket to the case, then torque the valve body bolts down in sequence to spec. One note from the field: because the gaskets are bonded to the plate, this is meant as a straight OE replacement. If you are running a Transgo or Superior shift kit that calls for drilling specific plate holes, you will be cutting through the bonded gasket, so plan that step accordingly. Many builders also run plastic check balls with this plate to extend its service life. Ships from the USA, handling in 1-2 business days.
