Hand pumps fresh ATF up into bottom- and side-fill transmission ports on Ford, GM, VW, Audi, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan and BMW using 12 threaded adapters.
Most late-model automatics fill from a plug on the side or bottom of the case with no dipstick tube, so a funnel does you no good. This is a 3-liter (0.8 gallon) manual fill pump that pushes fluid uphill into that port while the pan is level and the engine is at temp. You thread the matching adapter into the fill hole, run the 42.5-inch nylon hose to the reservoir, pump the head to build pressure, then crack the ball valve to meter fluid in until it runs back out at the check level.
The kit ships with 12 aluminum adapters that cover the common fill-plug threads on Ford, GM, Volkswagen, Audi, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan and BMW gearboxes, plus transfer cases, differentials and power-steering reservoirs. A built-in pressure gauge and relief valve let you feel when the port is taking fluid and back off before you overfill, which matters on units like the 6L80, 8HP and 09G that are picky about level.
What's in the box: the 3L reservoir, 12 adapters on a hook-and-loop storage belt, quick coupler, silicone hose, lid wrench and instructions. It's a hand pump, so on a nearly empty tank it takes a fair number of strokes to build pressure. Snug the fill cap down with the supplied wrench so it seals, or it won't hold air. Rated for use between 41 and 113 degrees F.
