4L60E Master Rebuild Kit with Frictions and Steels

A master rebuild kit for the GM 4L60E with everything a full teardown burns through: the overhaul gasket and seal set (pan gasket, valve body separator plate gaskets, pump and case gaskets, lip seals, O-rings and sealing rings) plus a full set of friction plates and steel plates for the clutch packs. It crosses to the T05700B, T74960K, RK4L60E and W74008GAP kit numbers and also covers the 4L65E and 4L70E.

Fitment covers 1993-up rear-drive GM: 1993-2000 C/K 1500, 1999-2013 Silverado and Sierra 1500, 1995-2010 Tahoe, 1995-2009 Yukon and Yukon XL 1500, 1993-2008 Suburban 1500, 2002-2008 Avalanche, 1996-2014 Express and Savana, 2002-2009 Trailblazer and Envoy, 2004-2012 Colorado and Canyon, 1993-2005 S10, Blazer, Sonoma, Jimmy, Astro and Safari, 1994-2002 Camaro, 1994-2005 Corvette, 1999-2006 Escalade and 2003-2007 Rainier.

Use it when the unit is already out and apart: burnt clutches, slipping in 3rd and 4th, no reverse, or a 3-4 pack that let go. Soak the new frictions in clean ATF before assembly, check clutch pack clearances as each drum goes together, and replace every piston seal and sealing ring in the kit rather than reusing the old ones. Hard parts like drums, the sun shell and bushings are not included, so inspect those during teardown.
