A complete ten-piece electrical service kit for the GM 4L60E and 4L65E (RPO M30 and M32) automatics in 2003-2005 trucks, vans and SUVs. It includes the 1-2/3-4 shift solenoid A, 2-3 shift solenoid B, the 3-2 downshift solenoid, the pressure control (EPC) solenoid, the TCC PWM solenoid, the TCC on/off solenoid, the pressure manifold switch (TFP switch), the internal wiring harness, a transmission filter and a pan gasket.
It cross-references to GM part numbers including 24230298, 24215111, 24209121, 24208576, 24227747, 24227792, 24212327, 8677314 and 8683187. The 2003-2005 units use a different harness and connector layout than the 1993-2002 transmissions, so check the year before ordering.
Worn or sticking solenoids and a failing pressure switch are behind a long list of 4L60E complaints: harsh or soft shifts, no 2nd or 3rd gear, starting in 2nd, no converter lockup, and codes such as P0748, P0751, P0756, P0757, P0741 and P1870-related slip. Replacing the whole set at once with the harness and switch rules out the electrical side instead of chasing one part at a time.
On the bench: drop the pan and pull the filter, unplug and unbolt the harness and switch, remove the solenoid retaining clips and bolts, and swap each solenoid with its matching new part. Install the new harness and pressure switch, fit the new filter and pan gasket, torque the pan bolts evenly and refill with Dexron VI before clearing codes and road testing.
