GM 6L80/6L90 Transmission Master Overhaul Kit with Filter

This is the overhaul kit for the GM 6L80 and 6L90 six-speed automatic, the RWD/4WD unit behind the LS and LT V8s in 2006-and-later trucks and cars. You get the parts that wear out or get destroyed on teardown: the internal transmission filter, the oil pan gasket, the full paper and metal-clad gasket set, the clutch piston lip seals, the Teflon and rubber sealing rings, and the O-rings needed to put the case, pump, valve body, and drums back together sealed. That is what you reach for when you drop the pan to reseal a leaking 6L80, service the fluid and filter, or button the unit back up after a valve-body or solenoid job without hunting individual seals.

This is a reseal and overhaul kit, not a clutch-replacement kit. It does not include friction plates or steel plates.
