Adjustable column-shift linkage that ties a GM TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E or 4L80E to the steering-column shifter so the indicator matches the gear.
This is the adjustable column-shift linkage kit for GM transmissions that get swapped behind a stock or aftermarket column shifter. It replaces ACA-1800, CB5010 and D292-SHLTH400, and it ties the column shift lever to the manual shift shaft on a TH200, 200-4R, TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E or 4L80E. This is the fix when you drop a different transmission into an older GM truck or muscle car and the factory rod no longer lines up.
The kit uses a billet aluminum mounting arm that clamps to the transmission shift shaft and a 21-inch stainless steel rod you cut to length for your chassis. Because the rod is adjustable and the arm can mount on either side of the column, you can dial in the exact geometry so Park, Reverse, Neutral and each drive gear land where the indicator says they should.
It solves the common column-shift problems that show up after a trans swap: the indicator not matching the actual gear, the engine cranking in a gear other than Park or Neutral, or the shifter not fully seating into gear. Kit includes the female rod end, hex connector with set screws, jam nut and mounting hardware. Trim the rod, set the throw, and torque it down. Not for Powerglide or newer electronic-column applications.
