A CVT has no drain-everything procedure like a geared automatic, so a proper service is a drain-and-fill you repeat two or three times to exchange most of the old fluid. Drop or drain the pan, replace both the internal strainer and the external cooler cartridge filter, refill through the dipstick tube or fill plug, bring the unit up to the temperature window Nissan specifies, and set level off the hot marks.
