Master overhaul kit for the Aisin K114 CVT: 6 friction plates, 6 steels, plus the full seal, gasket and O-ring set for 2014-up RAV4 and Lexus NX200 2.0L.
Full master rebuild kit for the Aisin K114 continuously variable transaxle, the belt-and-pulley unit used behind the 2.0L four in the 2014-up Toyota RAV4 and the Lexus NX200. The box carries six friction plates, six steel plates, and the complete overhaul set: lip seals, paper and rubber gaskets, sealing rings, O-rings and thrust washers. That is the wear-parts side of a teardown in one part number instead of a dozen line items.
The K114 does not fail the way a planetary automatic does. What wears is the forward and reverse clutch pack that sits ahead of the primary pulley, plus every rubber seal in the valve body and pulley circuit. When the frictions glaze and the seals harden, you get the classic complaints: a delayed or thumping engagement into drive, a slip or flare as the belt starts to ratio out, and a whine that rises with pulley pressure because the pump can no longer hold clamp load. Fresh frictions and new sealing rings restore clutch clearance and stop the internal leak that was bleeding line pressure.
On the bench, pull the valve body and inspect the primary and secondary pulley sheaves for chain witness marks before you commit to this kit - a scored pulley face or a stretched chain is a hard-part failure this kit does not cover. Pre-soak the frictions in fresh CVT fluid, set clutch clearance with the stack, and replace the pulley sealing rings while the unit is split rather than reusing them. Refill with Toyota CVT Fluid FE or the equivalent; do not substitute ATF, the clamp pressure and friction coefficient are not the same. This is a rebuild kit only - the chain, pulleys, oil pump and valve body are ordered separately.
