Clutch plates, steels, seals, O-rings and cork pan gasket to overhaul the Toyota K114 Direct Shift CVT in the 2018-2022 C-HR 2.0L.
An overhaul kit for the Toyota K114 Direct Shift CVT, the belt CVT with a mechanical launch gear that Toyota put behind the 2.0L four-cylinder (M20A) in the 2018-2022 C-HR. When the case is already apart for a belt, pulley or launch-clutch job, this kit covers the soft parts and friction material so you are not reassembling it with tired seals.
What is in the box: six friction plates and six steel plates for the forward and reverse clutch packs, the lathe-cut piston and drum sealing rings, a full set of valve body and passage O-rings, the axle, input and pump lip seals, and a cork oil pan gasket.
On the bench: tear down, soak the new frictions in fresh Toyota CVT Fluid FE for at least 30 minutes before stacking them, and check clutch clearance on each pack with a feeler gauge before closing the case. Replace every O-ring at the valve body and case passages, since hardened rings at those joints are a common cause of slow engagement and the soft, delayed reverse that shows up on higher-mileage K114 units. Refill with CVT Fluid FE only and set level at the overflow plug at the correct fluid temperature.
This kit does not include the steel belt, pulleys, valve body or solenoids. Confirm your transmission is the K114 before ordering; the C-HR hybrid and the 2.5L hybrid NX use a different eCVT and this kit does not fit them.
