The conductor plate is the electronic backbone of the Mercedes 722.6 (NAG1) five-speed automatic. It carries the shift solenoids and the input and output speed sensors, and it is the part that fails when a car suddenly locks into a single gear, throws no-communication faults, or drops into limp mode.
