All five electrical solenoids for a GM 4L60E, 4L65E or 4L70E valve body: 1-2 and 2-3 shift, 3-2 downshift, EPC and TCC/PWM, 1993-2006.
A complete set of the five valve body solenoids used in the GM 4L60E family: the A (1-2) shift solenoid, B (2-3) shift solenoid, 3-2 downshift solenoid, EPC pressure control solenoid and the TCC/PWM lockup solenoid. These are refurbished units pulled from factory transmissions, so a little residual ATF on them is normal.
Fitment: GM 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E, 1993-2006. Check your connectors and the solenoid style against your old parts before install, since GM changed the EPC and TCC solenoids more than once over those years.
What it fixes: stuck in second or third gear (failsafe), harsh or late shifts, a flare on the 3-2 downshift, converter lockup shudder, and codes such as P0751, P0756, P0748 and P0742. Replacing all five at once saves pulling the pan and valve body twice when a second tired solenoid shows up a month later.
On the bench: drop the pan and filter, unplug the internal harness, pull the retaining clips and bolts, and swap each solenoid one at a time so nothing gets crossed. Lube the O-rings with clean ATF, torque the valve body bolts to spec in sequence, and clear codes before the road test.
