Complete JF011E CVT valve body with solenoids, filter and pan gasket for Nissan Altima, Rogue and Sentra with slip or ratio faults.
Complete valve body assembly for the Jatco JF011E continuously variable transmission, also cataloged as RE0F10A and F1CJA. It supersedes OE numbers 31705-1XF1A and 31705-1XF0D and ships with the internal solenoids already fitted, so you are not transferring pressure-control, ratio-control and lock-up solenoids off a core. Fitment covers 2007-2013 Nissan Altima 2.5L, 2008-2016 Rogue, 2009-2012 Sentra, 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2008-2017 Outlander, 2011-2017 Outlander Sport, 2007-2012 Dodge Caliber, and 2007-2017 Jeep Compass and Patriot with the JF011E. It does not fit the larger JF010E / RE0F09A behind the 3.5L V6, and it does not fit the later JF016E / JF017E.
The valve body is what turns the TCM's pressure command into real clamp on the steel push belt. When bores wear, when a solenoid coil drifts, or when debris from a failing pulley scores the separator plate, secondary clamping pressure lags the ratio command. On the road that shows up as judder pulling away from a stop, rpm flare or a rubber-band hang on light throttle, no torque converter lock-up, a hard 1-2 style bump in a CVT that should be seamless, or stored P0745, P0746, P0776, P0841 and P17F0-series codes. If your pulleys and belt still measure in spec and the fault follows pressure rather than mechanical damage, replacing the valve body as a unit is the repair that actually sticks.
The kit includes the valve body, the 20-hole oil pan gasket, transmission filter 31728-1XF02, and the secondary oil filter 31726-1XF00 with its O-ring, which is everything the pan side of the job needs. On the bench: drain and drop the pan, pull the old filters, unplug the internal harness connector and the stepper motor lead, then unbolt the valve body in a spiral from the outside in so the plate does not warp. Keep the bolts in a board because the lengths differ. Before the new unit goes up, wipe the case face, verify the manual valve pin engages the detent lever, and torque the bolts in the reverse spiral. Fill with genuine Nissan NS-2 CVT fluid only, then bring the fluid to the specified temperature window and set the level at the charging pipe. Nearly every comeback on this job traces back to the wrong fluid or a level set cold.
