Replacement control solenoids for the Subaru Lineartronic TR580 and TR690 CVTs. The set has three black solenoids and one brown solenoid and replaces Subaru numbers 31825AA050, 31825AA051, 31825AA052 and 31706AA030 through 31706AA033.
Fitment: Impreza 2012-2023, Crosstrek 2013-2023, Forester 2014-2023, Outback 2015-2023 and Legacy 2015-2023. Confirm your transmission is the TR580 or TR690 before ordering, and match the solenoid colors to what is on your valve body.
These solenoids control line pressure, lockup and pulley ratio on the CVT. When one sticks or loses resistance you see judder on takeoff, a CVT warning light, slipping or limp mode with codes in the P0700, P0746, P0841 and P2764 range depending on model year. Swapping the full set with the valve body out is the usual repair before replacing a transmission. Drop the pan, remove the valve body, change the solenoids, reinstall with new O-rings, refill with Subaru CVT fluid and perform the CVT learn with a scan tool.
