4L60E Refurbished Valve Body for 1995-2005 GM

A refurbished valve body assembly for the GM 4L60E, shipped with the solenoids and pressure switch manifold mounted. The pictured casting is stamped 24203537. Being refurbished, the outside can show handling marks, but the unit is tested before it ships and goes in as a complete assembly.

Listed applications: 1995-2005 Chevy Astro 4.3L V6, 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy 4.2L, 2004-2006 Chevy Colorado 2.8L and 3.5L, 2000-2005 GMC Yukon 4.8L and 5.3L V8, and the 1995-1996 B-body cars with the 5.7L (Chevy Impala SS, Buick Roadmaster, Cadillac Fleetwood). Solenoid and manifold style changed across that span, so match the connectors and the casting number on your old valve body to this one before installing.

Replace the valve body when the symptoms are hydraulic rather than clutch failure: harsh or erratic shifts that do not clear up with new solenoids, delayed engagement, flare between gears, converter shudder or no lockup, and repeat P1870 codes. On the bench: drop the pan, unplug the internal harness, unhook the manual valve link, and lower the valve body straight down to keep the checkballs in place. Confirm checkball locations, fit new separator plate gaskets, torque the bolts center-out to spec, refill with fresh ATF and a new filter, then reset adaptive learning and road-test.
